We were hungry leaving Grant Grove and looking for a place in Fresno to eat, but saw this, pulled in, and we were greeted by Gena. Fast service, delicious food. Husband's Country Benedict was fantastic. I had eggs, crispy hashbrowns and grits. Very filling. Mom's bacon was perfectly cooked the way she likes it. Watermelon slice was a nice touch. We stuck our Wisconsin pin on her world map. Happy to be here!

We booked through Airbnb for two nights while we visited Sequoia and King's Canyon. Ended up cancelling halfway through and staying only one of the two nights because: - The room smelled really badly of cats, and we had to buy a thing of Febreze just to cover it up. - The hot water in the sink wasn't working properly (spitting and sputtering and not putting out hot water), so we didn't even try the shower. - The mattress was probably the hardest mattress we've ever slept on. - Walls were thin so you could hear the cats outside and neighbors next door. - Check-in was a little disorganized. Pro: the bed was clean at least (most of the cat smell was in the carpet and closet).

Put simply, Sierra Inn is awesome! Gena and her whole team are very friendly and accommodating. The room, while small, was clean and comfortable. We had both dinner and lunch at the restaurant and both meals were excellent. Try the ribs! Gena shared some great advice about visiting Kings Canyon as well as some entertaining stories. If you are staying a while or just passing through, I can't recommend Sierra Inn highly enough.
